CHAIRPERSON MESSAGE

The journey of the Amna Inayat Medical and Educational complex begin back in 2008-2009. With a mission to impart quality education and to nurture the intelligence and creative minds in the right direction we established Amna Inayat Medical College, Faryal Dental College, Muhafizat institute of allied health sciences and currently in the last phases of establishing Nursing College. Our endeavour has always been to provide the best to the students and to prepare them to take up the challenges of tomorrow so that when they come out of the institutions, they are competent to handle the responsibilities of the medical profession. The attached tertiary care hospital, Kishwar Fazal Hosptal built within the campus provides with excellent patient care facilities and provides the students good opportunities to learn bedside manners and clinical skills. Further expansion of the hospital has been planned which will be to accommodate more health care facilities like state of art operation theatres, Cath Lab and OPD’s to cater to the growing requirements of the patients. I would like to congratulate the faculty for taking innovative measures during the current time of crisis in COVID-19 to ensure that the transfer of knowledge was not interrupted to the students by setting up an E-learning resource centre. I am excited about the momentum we are creating to address the growing need for primary care physicians who are trained to deliver high quality, compassionate care. On behalf of the Board of Directors I welcome you to the future of healthcare.

PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

It is a matter of great pride and privilege for me to welcome you at Amna Inayat Medical College. You are making one of the most important decisions of your life and have opted for a career which is exciting, rewarding and perhaps most importantly exquisitely humbling. We understand that the true measure of an educational institute is not just to gain academic excellence but also to nurture creativity, individuality and leadership in the students while striving for quality in teaching and learning. The value of education is perceived only when it is shared or practiced for a dignified cause. We understand that the true measure of an educational institute is not just to gain academic excellence but also to nurture creativity, individuality and leadership in the students while striving for quality in teaching and learning. Our goal is to produce competent doctors who have knowledge, intellect and integrity. Our intention is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will enable the students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners, prepared to thrive in the progressive world. While the COVID-19 pandemic has posed serious challenges to the way we work, it has also caused us to take time to think through innovations, and to imagine a radically different world from the one we had become used to. One such innovation by our faculty is the facilitation for students to provide online lectures through a dedicated portal all year around so as to promote and encourage self-learning practices in order to excel. True to its mission, it has been our constant endeavor to train competent, compassionate and caring physicians through excellence in teaching, patient care, and medical research. I wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
