- Department Profile:
Oral Biology deals with the histology, anatomy and physiology of oral structures. It forms the foundation for clinical sciences through knowledge of gross and histological study of oral cavity. The department has dedicated state of art laboratory which enables the students to build a firm foundation for the forthcoming years during BDS.
The aim of this department is to educate students in modern scientific approaches to oral biology and oral disease. The mission of this department is to provide an encouraging environment to develop the intellectual capacity, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving ability of its students so that they may become honorable, contributing, and forward-thinking members of the science and dental community; to foster a conducive environment for scholarly and creative activities so that new knowledge or solutions to problems are discovered or created; and to provide education to all students in the College so that they may be equipped to succeed in the modern world.
